Missing Davison Dog Found Tangled in Nearby Woods

A VERY happy ending to a nerve-wracking ordeal for a local family!

The Genesee County Neighborhood Watch Facebook page shared a story over the weekend about a local family whose dog, Maggie, had been missing for 24 hours from the area of Copper Ridge subdivision.

She had apparently gotten loose from the owner's father and had been missing since 8:30 AM on Saturday morning. Maggie is a one-year-old dog who hadn't been spayed yet, and the family was concerned about the cold weather and potential coyotes.

After many hours of people searching, the family found her in some nearby woods, tangled up in a tree. She is home and in good health, according to her family.
