Mid-Michigan Woman to Appear on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ to Honor Grandfather [VIDEO]
Sarah Beatty is about to fulfill a lifelong dream. The University of Michigan senior will appear on 'Wheel of Fortune' on April 21st, and says doing so is a way of honoring her grandfather, who passed away last year.
Beatty is the daughter of Marie and Charles Vat of Brown City and Robert and Tracey Beatty of Miamisburg, Ohio.
In her audition video (below), Beatty says that one of her earliest memories is sitting on her grandfather's lap, watching Wheel, and yelling, "Buy a vowel! Buy an 'E'!" She says that watching the show now brings back great memories, and getting to be a contestant on the show would mean a great deal to her, as well as her grandmother.
