Check Out Michigan’s Most Popular Super Bowl Food for Game Day
Super Bowl Sunday is just about here, and although it's supposed to be all about the big game, it's also one of the biggest eating days of the year. Whether or not you're a football fanatic or just there for the commercials, we can all agree that some foods have their place at the game day table
From bars to house parties, football fans will gather to watch their favorite teams and eat away on one of the sport's biggest "holidays". With that in mind, feeding those football fans is a pretty important task. Just like there's a winner and a loser in the big game, there are winners and losers when it comes to those party snacks.
Study Finds recently took on the task of finding which Super Bowl food is most popular in each state. Of course, there are those staples that reign supreme when it comes to those game-day foods. The study found that meatballs take number one, followed by guacamole at #2, chips and salsa at #3, tater tots at #4, and chili at #5. Rounding out the top 10, you can also find hummus, nachos, pigs in a blanket, and spinach artichoke dip for the top Super Bowl foods in the U.S.
What's the Most Popular Super Bowl Food in Michigan?
According to the Study Finds research team, Michiganders are all about Pigs in a Blanket on game day. If you aren't familiar with the popular appetizer, Pigs in a Blanket is a small hot dog or other sausage wrapped in pastry. Sharing in the deliciousness as their top pick is Georgia and Tennessee.
To be honest, this one was a bit of a surprise. Truthfully, I figured Michiganders to be more of wings or chili kinda state. Take a look at the full list state by state below.
