Walmart and Kroger have announced that they will be shortening their business hours from now until the end of the COVID-19 crisis to give employees more time to restock shelves. Essentials like bread and water are gone, and the toilet paper aisles are famously bare.
Dale Miller is a Meijer truck driver from Lake Odessa, Michigan. He posted yesterday in the wee hours of the morning to assure people that they are delivering LOTS of food to Michigan stores and to stop hoarding products from others.
Not that this will stop the mass hysteria and panic, but it's a great reminder that there are a LOT of people doing their jobs right now and that we need to only buy what's necessary.
