Michigan Police Department is Campaigning for a Cop Cat

The Troy Police Department isn't messing around right meow. 

We love cats. That being said, we're not sure what a police cat would actually DO, other than shed all over the squad car. But hey, we're all about a good social media campaign.

The Troy Police Department tweeted on Tuesday that, if they get 10,000 followers by April, they "want" a police cat. Not that they'll GET one, but they WANT one.

They've already got 6,300+ followers and it's only March 9th. And they have the support of the writer and star of Super Troopers, Officer Foster himself: Paul Sorter.
