For the first time since 1990, an American was the first to cross the finish line at the Crim.

Thousands of people took part in the 40th Crim Festival of races in Flint this weekend. It started with the Michigan Mile festivities on Friday evening. On Saturday there were multiple events, including the 5K, 8K and 10 mile races. It has been a long time since an American has won the 10 mile race. In the 40th year of the race, it was not only an American, but a Michigan native! Dathan Ritzenhein, a three time Olympian took home the top honor this year.
