The fellow hunter suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a West Michigan hospital.

I'm not a hunter. Never have been and I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about it. But I have so many questions about this.

Two guys were hunting squirrels in the Allegan State Game Area on the west side of Michigan when one shot the other - one man noticed some movement at about 12 yards away, so he fired off his 12-gauge shotgun.

He shot his friend, who was airlifted to a hospital and treated for serious injuries to his jaw, eye and face. He was not wearing his hunting gear.

The incident is still under investigation.
