Michigan Department of Corrections to Hire 700 New Officers
If you or someone you know is looking for a job, the Michigan Department of Corrections is hiring. The MDOC announced on its website that it is looking to hire about 700 people to fill openings across the state.
These are permanent, full-time positions that pay between $17.67 and $27.06 per hour. Some college credit is required but new hires are granted time to complete the requirements after they're hired. No correction experience is required according to the MDOC's website.
Training begins in February. Here's a link where you can apply or share with a friend who may be looking for work.
