Here's a new one. An Amazon delivery driver in Southeast Michigan has been busted for stealing a package just seconds after he delivered it.

Thomas Jaros ordered a set of bike hooks which he planned to use to hang his bike in his garage. When the package arrived, Jaros got an email that confirmed that the package had been delivered to his mother's house in Warren, and that email included a picture -- snapped by the delivery driver -- showing that the package had landed on the woman's porch.

But when Jaros' mother checked outside her door, there was no package. So Thomas decided to check the footage he'd captured on his doorbell camera.

"Just recently I installed some Ring cameras around her house and I said, 'Just for the heck of it, I'll check and see,'" he told WDIV.

Jaros couldn't believe what he saw the Amazon driver do after he took the picture.

"And then [he] picked the package back up and went to his truck and took off."

Thomas says the package was delivered, then stolen by the delivery driver all within about 30 seconds.

Jaros reported the incident to Warren police who suggested he report the incident to Amazon directly.

The company replaced the item and offered Jaros a gift card for his trouble. They said they're conducting an internal investigation, but there's no word on the fate of the delivery driver.
