Their motto has always been "high-fives over handshakes," which is even more poignant now.

One Well Brewing in Kalamazoo, just like many other restaurants and bars, is struggling right now. They employ about fifty people but when the Governor announced the mandatory closing of dining rooms, they realized that they couldn't afford to keep all of their employees.

Owner Chris O'Neill told employees on their way out to file for unemployment benefits and even offered some scattered hours for carryout orders. Still, even O'Neill admits that this won't be enough to sustain people's needs.

He started a GoFundMe and pledged to match up to $10,000 in donations. In just one day, donations topped $6,000. O'Neill now plans on auctioning off items from the brewery to add to the fund.

Big thanks to ALL business owners who are doing their best right now.
