Michigan and Michigan State have released their upcoming football schedule, and it looks way different than years prior.

The BIG 10 schedule was released in full, and it's a quite a bit different than what most BIG 10 football fans are used to. The most notable change is that Michigan and Ohio State will not play each other at the end of the season. Instead the two rivals will square off in Columbus on October 24th. This is the first time in more than 50 years that they have not ended the regular season by playing each other.

Both Michigan and Michigan State are scheduled to start their season off on September 5th at home. Sparty will host Minnesota while U of M hosts Purdue. This is assuming that the season even gets started.

Multiple BIG 10 programs, including Michigan State, have been forced to shut down practices at some point due to Covid-19 related issues. There have been a handful of college players opting out of the 2020 season, and UConn just became the first FSB team to completely cancel their season.

Even if the season starts as scheduled, there is a huge chance of things having to be delayed or changed if there is an outbreak of Coronavirus. The BIG 10 did try to put a few more bye weeks into the schedule to accommodate that, but I don't think it will make a difference.

We've already seen the speed at which this virus spreads, so if one team is exposed during a game, there will most likely be multiple infections.

I guess all we can do at this point is hope that the season happens without incident. You can see both  U of M's and MSU's schedule below.
