Meet Nanuck! He's a 1 1/2-year-old Siberian Husky mix who was adopted out once and returned to the Humane Society of Genesee County. He has severe separation anxiety and, after one weekend with his new family, had torn their house apart after they left.

He needs some crate training and more housebreaking as well. He would do well in a house with no cats and (because of his size) no small kids.

Trust me when I tell you that he is THE SWEETEST dog you'll ever meet. He literally cried for a hug at the end of our visit. Huskies are a demanding breed; they need LOTS of exercise and are known as "escape artists." Nanuck will make a wonderful companion; he just needs somebody who can devote the time and energy to him.
