Ermagerd. KITTIES AND BIG TOUGH AUTO MECHANICS. I just can't.

And it's from my home state, so that sweetens the deal.

Mechanics at Chet's Car Care in Madison, Wisconsin, were called to help with a unique dilemma - a stray kitten had gotten itself stuck inside the dashboard of a car.

The owner of the car had opened the hood and scared the kitten, who then jumped inside and got itself stuck. They then called Animal Control, who recommended having the dashboard removed.

My response would be, "Urrrrmmmmmm....okay. How would one do THAT?"

They took their car to Chet's, where employees spent almost the ENTIRE WORK DAY - 6.5 hours - removing the car's dashboard. Finally, the kitty was free.

He was checked out by a local vet, who said that he's just fine. The guys at Chet's named him "Dash" and the owner adopted him.
