Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Last week we started getting you ready for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer kick-off which took place this morning. Rod and I had the pleasure of attending the event and we're looking to get a team together but we need your help to make it happen on October 15. 

We'll have more details once we get our team page set up and maybe we'll even throw in some incentive for you to join our team. The kick-off is always a reminder of why we partner with the American Cancer Society. When you hear statistics of a survivor who has lost her mother and daughter to the disease or how last year alone this event raised $60 million nationwide, it makes you want to get involved.

As we get closer we'll have more details on how you can join. It's only a three mile casual walk which starts at the Flat Lot in downtown Flint. There's zumba as well as other activities going on just before the walk. We had a lot of fun last year so please help us again this year. Let's help everyone celebrate another birthday this year.
