Maintenance Supervisor for Grand Blanc Schools Dies in Car Crash

Another tragic loss for Grand Blanc Community Schools this year. So sad.

We reported yesterday morning about a crash on Jewett Trail near the Grand Blanc Community Schools Maintenance Building. It appears as though Cheryl Rayner, a custodial site supervisor for Knight Facilities Management, crashed her car into a fence on the south side of GB high school's property.

It's believed that she had a medical condition that caused her to crash her car. She was the only one involved in the crash. School was not yet in session.

Rayner has worked for Grand Blanc schools since 2004. Funeral plans have not yet been announced.
