Macaulay Culkin Heads to Detroit For Special Screening of ‘Home Alone’
Get ready for some serious holiday coolness you filthy animals! This winter, Detroit will be the setting for a holiday event filled with major nostalgia.
Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin is set to make a special appearance at a screening of the flick that made him an instant star. Fans of the beloved 1990 classic holiday film still can't seem to get enough of the child star and his antics, even though the child is no longer a child, but a father himself. Now the star is set to host a special event right here in Michigan.
“A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin" is heading to Detroit just in time for the holidays. The special event will offer a screening of the iconic holiday film, followed by a moderated interview and audience Q&A with Culkin, aka Kevin McCallister.
"Relive the iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from Home Alone on the big screen, and then dive deep into the behind-the-scenes stories and insights with Macaulay Culkin himself. Hear about his experiences on set, his favorite memories from filming, and his take on why this movie has become such a beloved holiday classic," the event bio reads.
Attendees will be treated to stories from Culkin’s time on set, hear his reflections on the film’s enduring popularity, and may even gain some insights into what it was like working with a star-studded cast including Joe Pesci and Catherine O'Hara.
When is the Maccauly Caulkin Event in Detroit?
"A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin" will take place on Sunday, December 8, at 7 pm.at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. Tickets for the show, which is perfect for all ages, go on sale Friday, September 13, at 10 am. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available which include a personal post-show photo opportunity with Macaulay Culkin himself.
