LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Grand Blanc Township PD Explains Road Closures

Their Facebook page blew UP over this the other day, so we thought we'd have them in studio to explain.

As almost everybody in Genesee County knows, there's quite a bit of construction in Grand Blanc right meow. Fenton between Cook and Grand Blanc is closed, as well as Hill and Belsay while they build a roundabout. And, as you can see from the comments below, there's a lot of confusion from residents.

So, we gave the GB Township Police Department a call and got Lieutenant Matt Simpson to drop in studio this morning to clear everything up for us. And that he did. Thanks, Lt. Simpson!

*For the record, we contacted the Genesee County Roads Commission yesterday and they told us that they were not interested in doing a live interview.
