Lapeer Twins with Muscular Dystrophy Got a 16th Birthday Parade

The entire community came together to make this a special day for them and we are NOT OKAY...PASS THE KLEENEX PLEASE.

Shay and Riley Simeneta are twin brothers with an extra challenge in life - they both have muscular dystrophy. Their mom, Brandi, says that one fo their favorite activities is sitting in the driveway and watching cars go by.

With their 16th birthday approaching, Brandi wanted to do something special for the boys. She reached out to the Lapeer community to see if anybody would bring by a classic car or two for the boys to see.

And the community delivered in a BIG way.

Police blocked off their street as tons of cars rolled by the boys' house, giving them a birthday parade that they (and their mom) never expected.
