Kermit the Frog, Howdy Doody Puppets on Display in Detroit
The exhibit will be on display starting this Friday, January 17th.
And before you even ask...
No. No they don't.
If you're a Muppets fan, this frog's for YOU. Did you know that the Detroit Institute of Art has one of the original Kermit the Frog puppets in house? It was donated by Jim Henson in 1971. So yeah, he's just been making the rainbow connection in a storage room...until now.
Kermit, along with the original Howdy Doody puppet from 1947, will be on display starting on January 17th through late March. They'll be displayed in the puppet case on the first floor.
