Furyk Has Several Wins Under His Belt

Jim Furyk became the 19th player in PGA tour champions history to win his debut appearance at last year's Ally challenge. He and Bruce Fleisher are only players to win their first two starts on the senior circuit after his Pure Insurance Championship win. Furyk is fresh off his latest win grabbing a PGA tour championship title at the 2021 US Senior Open Championship last month. Furyk also took the win in Grand Blanc at the 2003 Buick Open.

Other Pros Filing Into Grand Blanc This Year

Jerry Kelly is a relative newcomer in the PGA world, making his debut in 2017 and winning the Rookie of the Year title. This will be his fourth year at the Ally Challenge.

Retief Goosen is a two time US Open champ, making his third appearance at the Ally Challenge.

Mark O’Meara has recorded 16 PGA tour titles, including two majors, and was the PGA tour player of the year in 1998. He's appeared every year at the Ally Challenge.

The Ally Challenge is presented by McLaren. Last year's tournament raised $801,563 for various charities throughout Southeast Michigan. This year's concert entertainment will feature country supergroup Little Big Town.
