Jennifer Lawrence is Getting Married This Weekend in Major Style

Actress Jennifer Lawrence and fiance, of only 8 months, art gallery worker Cooke Maroney are saying "I do" this weekend in Newport, Rhode Island according to sources.

Reports say the nuptials will take place at Belcourt of Newport, the magnificent property owned by Alex and Ani CEO Carolyn Rafaelian. Just about 150 guest are expected at the elegant affair being orchestrated by celebrity party planner Mark Seed. Guests of the couple will enjoy a  menu includes hors d’oeuvres like sweet potato flat cakes, brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk, smoked pork belly with pickled apple, and salt cod beignet. According to TMZ who has a sneak peek to the affair, the main courses are expected to be a choice between wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter and a 5-week-aged leg of beef with forager’s sauce.

Lawrence said in a recent interview that she knew right away it was love and that he was the "one"  fast.  "We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave."

The couple met through one of Lawrence's friends back in June of 2018.
