Sneaker and Gear Heads Excited for Flint’s First Drip Fest
Update: It's happening this weekend. Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland are being treated to a two-day ticketed event celebrating all things style.
Collectors and general enthusiasts of shoes, gear, custom printed tees and all things fashion will be able to buy, sell and trade.
What does 'drip' mean?
For those not up on the latest slang, "drip" refers to someone's style (outfit) or demeanor, according to Urban Dictionary. You can read all of the definitions for "drip" slang, here. it's said the term originated from New Jersey in 2014.
Let's nerd-out a little more. Here's the definition of "drip" as an adjective:

Who is behind Drip Fest in Flint, MI?
The owner and organizer of Drip Fest is Flint area native Seth Conklin. He told MLive most people have to travel to Detroit for something like this. Conklin hopes it fills a need within the community.
What will you find at Drip Fest?
Conklin told MLive:
There’s going to be anything from a $5 vintage T-shirt to a multi-thousand-dollar T-shirt,” Conklin said. “So, there’s really something for everybody whether you’re into vintage design or new or used shoes.

Look for Drip Fest at Dort Financial Center off I-69 at Center & Lapeer Roads in Flint, Saturday & Sunday June 3rd and 4th. Tickets will be $25 for the entire weekend.
