A street in Michigan has been listed among the weirdest street names in the United States.

My initial reaction was, only one? Think about it, we have quite a few funny street names in the Great Lakes State,

  • Big Beaver Road (Troy)
  • Hiscock Street (Ann Arbor)
  • Jughandle Road (Livonia)
  • Stoner Street (River Rouge)

Those are just a few weird street names, but not weird enough to make the list.

Do you have any guesses about which Michigan street made the list of the weirdest street names in the United States?

Here is a clue: the street is in Traverse City.

The Michigan street that landed on the list of weirdest street names in America is Psycho Path.

Yes, you read that right. Psycho Path is off of M72, west of Traverse City in Leelanau County.

According to Realtor, Michigan is not the only home to a road named Psycho Path.

You can also find Psycho Path roads in these states,

  • Florida
  • Mississippi
  • Colorado
  • Oklaholma

I am surprised that Big Bone Lick Road in Kentucky did not make the list, but the following weird street names did,

  • Tootin' Hill Road in Connecticut
  • Windy Butte Way in Nevada
  • Zzyzx Road in California
  • Haviture Way in Utah
  • Shades of Death Road in New Jersey
  • Bucket of Blood Street in Arizona
  • Divorce Court in Pennsylvania
  • Uptha Road in Maine
  • Hanky Panky Street in Nevada

It is not a surprise that Hanky Panky Street is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
