Michigan Spirit Christmas Stores

Michigan will have four Spirit Christmas stores opening for the holiday season, including one right here in Genesee County.

If you think I am a little early talking about the holiday season, then clearly you have not been in a store lately. From Walmart to Dollar General, Christmas is already here, and the holiday decorations are everywhere.

It is not exactly breaking news that we rush through most holidays to get to the next one. Before we even have a chance to enjoy one, the next holiday is already knocking on the door. It is what it is.

Although you may not want a giant jump start to Christmas, many people want to stretch out the holiday season. Fans of XMAS will be thrilled to find out that Spirit Christmas will open four locations in Michigan this year, including one in Flint.

Where Are Spirit Christmas Stores Opening in Michigan in 2026?

Spirit Christmas stores will be opening in the following locations,

Flint: G3603 Miller Road (Former JoAnn Fabrics).
Grand Rapids: 3665 28th Street SE (Former JoAnn Fabrics).
Taylor: 23000 Eureka Road, Suite 1360 (Former Forever 21)
Macomb: 5300 Hayes Road (Former Gardner White)

When Will Michigan Spirit Christmas Stores Open?

According to WNEM, the Flint location will open in November. My guess is sometime in early November. I would assume the timeline will be about the same for the other stores as well.

Until then, feel free to enjoy the Halloween season and the many Spirit Halloween stores throughout the Great Lakes State.

Christmas Foods That Are Dangerous for Dogs

Avoid giving dogs Christmas table scraps due to the potential toxicity of certain foods like onions and chocolate, the risk of pancreatitis from high-fat dishes, and the hazards of cooked bones splintering. Seasonings and new foods can cause digestive upset.
