
Knife Attack At Traverse City Walmart Leaves Multiple Shoppers Injured
A Michigan man accused of going on a stabbing spree at a Walmart in Traverse City is now facing a charge of terrorism.
Bradford James Gille, 42, of Afton, Michigan, entered the Walmart shortly after 4:00 PM yesterday, Saturday, July 26th, 2025, and started attacking people at 4:45 PM, near the checkout area.
According to the BBC, as of Saturday evening, five individuals were in serious condition, while six others remained in critical condition.
In addition to the terrorism charge, Gille is facing 11 counts of assault with intent to murder. According to The New York Times, he used a standard folding knife with a 3.5-inch blade. Authorities confirmed that Gille acted alone and was taken into custody within minutes of their arrival.

At this time, no clear motive has been identified for the brutal attacks. Authorities continue to investigate what may have led to the violent incident.
