El Pato’s Mexican Fresh Fenton Closing Permanently in 2026

El Pato's Mexican Fresh in Fenton has announced its permanent closure.

The restaurant opened in February 2024 on West Silver Lake Road near Buffalo Wild Wings, serving bowls, burritos, salads, quesadillas, papas fritas, and more.

After nearly two years in business, the restaurant announced its closure on January 9, 2026, via social media.

With heavy hearts, we share that El Patos will be closing its doors.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our incredible guests, neighbors, and supporters for the love, loyalty, and memories you’ve shared with us. None of this would have been possible without you.

The Facebook post goes on to state that El Pato’s staff will be working at the owner’s other restaurant, The Tavern Kitchen & Bar, on Owen Road in Fenton. You can read the post in its entirety below.

We wish everyone involved the best. It is always a bummer to see a local business close, and we know how much work goes into running one. I am quite sure that the team at El Pato's is grateful to everyone who supported them over the years.

I think it is a safe bet that many fans of El Pato’s Mexican Fresh will likely visit the team at The Tavern Kitchen & Bar.
