A New Bealls Store Is Opening in Owosso This Fall

Owosso will soon be home to a new Bealls store. If you are not familiar with Bealls, you’re not alone. I had never even heard of Bealls until now.

The discount department store offers a wide variety of items, including clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, housewares, gifts, seasonal merchandise, and much more. It sounds like it has a similar vibe to TJ Maxx.

According to the Argus Press, the store will be located in the Owosso East Shopping Center at 1425 East Main Street.

When is Bealls opening in Owosso?

The grand opening will be a three-day celebration, taking place from Friday, October 23, 2026, through Sunday, October 25, 2026.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Bealls is planning to open even more stores across Michigan. Locations will also open this year in Charlotte, Coldwater, and Sturgis.

The Charlotte location will be at 1628 Lansing Road, with its grand opening taking place the same weekend as the Owosso store. The Bealls store in Sturgis is located at 821 South Centerville Road, with its grand opening scheduled for November 6th through November 8th, 2026.

But wait, there's more. Clio will be getting a Bealls in 2027. I could not find any information as to an exact location, but I will keep you updated as more details are revealed.
