Family Seeks Public’s Help in Finding Missing Genesee County Man
Update: Tragically, Austin Bartsch has been found deceased. His family and friends are heartbroken, and they ask for privacy as they process this devastating loss.
A Genesee County family is seeking the public's help in finding a missing man from the area.
According to reports shared on Facebook, Austin Bartsch was last seen by his friends and family at approximately 11:30 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024
Austin is described as a 6'2" tall, skinny male with distinctive tattoos on his left forearm and a smiley face tattoo on his left hand. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
At the time of his disappearance, Austin was driving a mint green Ford Focus with the license plate number 30ACT3. One thing that is really concerning to his family and friends is that Austin left his phone at home, and his vehicle has not been located. I was also informed by one of Austin's family members that his vehicle didn't have OnStar, which makes it even more difficult to track him down.
His family and friends are desperate for any information about Austin’s whereabouts. If you see him or have any information that could help bring him home safely, please contact Laurie Athey-Smith or reach out directly.
Austin is deeply loved by his friends and family, who are anxiously waiting for his safe return. Please keep an eye out and share this message to help spread the word.
