Hurley Medical Center to Offer Free Teen Heart Screenings [VIDEO]

Hurley Medical Center and the Thomas Smith Foundation are offering free heart checks for teens this Saturday at the Flint Farmers' Market.

The Thomas Smith Foundation was formed by the family of Thomas Smith, after he suddenly lost his life to an undiagnosed heart condition at 17. His brother Jacob appeared on NBC-25 to promote the event.

The event is open to all Flint-area teens, and will be held this Saturday (10/8) from 9 am to 3 pm at the Flint Farmers' Market. There is no charge. Pre-register at 810.262.7123.
