An accident involving a Clio police vehicle and another vehicle has left both drivers with minor injuries. When you see the pictures you'll find it hard to believe both drivers are still alive.

Clio Police Chief Jim McLelland said the driver of the green Escort was traveling east on Vienna Road at about 80 miles per hour when he ran a red light at Mill Street and collided with the officer heading north on Mill Street.

The Clio police officer just happened to be sitting at the red light. police investigators are trying to learn why the green Escort driver was driving so fast. He says when questioned the driver had no memory of the accident. Photo gallery below.
