Great news for Lapeer County residents, Pita Way will be opening a new location on Summit Street in Lapeer (former Payless location) this summer. If you are not familiar with Pita Way I can tell you from personal experience, it is not only a great healthy food option, it is also incredibly delicious.

The motto at Pita Way is Eat Better. Eat Fresher. The companies mission statement is as follows,

We put our hearts into making that a reality. We strive to serve our communities a taste of the Mediterranean region, guaranteeing quality, affordable food, fast.

Our bottom line is to serve delicious, convenient, and healthy meals to our customers. We’ve mastered the art of fresh and authentic Mediterranean food with fast and friendly service through our values of dedication, empathy, enthusiasm, integrity, and ambition.

Pita Way first opened in Clarkston, MI, in 2010. We are proud of our reputation for having great food, good prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. We want you to feel like you’re part of our family when you walk through the door!

I have been to Pita Way in both Fenton and Grand Blanc - both of those locations have never disappointed me. The food lives up to the motto of Eat Better. Eat Fresher. My personal favorite is a Sandweech (yes, that is the correct spelling) with Tawook, which is grilled chicken meat.

Pita Way also offers delicious salads, soups, and sides including,

  • Hummus
  • Tabbouli
  • Rice
  • Chicken Tenders
  • Fries
  • Falafel Appetizer
  • Rice
  • Garlic
  • Tourshi
  • Baby salad

Heads up, Pita Way also caters. This is perfect for an upcoming open house or summer party. Once an official grand opening date is announced, I will let you know. Congrats to owner Raad Kashat - this is going to be awesome.
