Hamilton Community Health in Flint Holding Free Drive-Thru COVID Vaccine Clinic
Hamilton Community Health Network in Flint is holding a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Friday (3/26). Anyone who is 16 years of age or older is eligible to receive a free coronavirus vaccine.
The walk-up/drive-thru event will be held in the parking lot of the Center of Hope, located at 812 Root Street in Flint. The clinic is scheduled from 9 am to 3 pm and vaccinations will be given until the supply runs out.
Hamilton Community Health Network has acquired 150 doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine and will administer them to eligible participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Matthew Frierson, a spokesman for Hamilton Community Health Network, tells Mlive that anyone that attends the clinic after the day's supply is deleted is going to be able to register to receive the vaccine at another clinic on another day.
“We will be registering people who come after supplies run out,” Frierson said.

Hamilton encourages anyone who is eligible to receive the vaccine to do so, saying it's best to get the facts rather than buying into social media chatter.
"We hope you consider getting the COVID vaccine. If you’re hesitant, get input from your physician, do your own research of reputable sources and don’t assume that the post your read on social media is accurate. In the meantime, we here at Hamilton are proud to be part of medical history."
