Grandpa Shoots Marriage Proposal With the Wrong Side of the Phone [VIDEO]
God, I hope this isn't me one day. Former Navy photographer John Hart captured a marriage proposal that took place atop the picturesque Sandia Peak in Albuquerque, NM. But it seems that Hart had the phone facing the wrong way and managed to capture how delighted he was to watch the couple's big moment.
Jamie Hart introduced the couple to her grandfather.
"He introduced me to his girlfriend and at that point I said, 'wow hey this would be a great chance for you to propose to your girlfriend and put a big smile on her face,' and unbeknownst to me, that was the plan," Hart tells KOB 4.
Jamie's boyfriend Jayce was tasked with recording cellphone video of the couple but found that he didn't have enough hands, so he handed the phone off to his girlfriend's grandfather.
"I thought I could handle this. Well unbeknownst to me, I'm taping myself," Hart said.
Despite the gaffe, the happy couple got a good laugh out of the whole thing.
