Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will hold a press conference this afternoon to provide an update on the state’s coronavirus (COVID-19) response.

The conference is scheduled for 4:30pm. Currently Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says she has no plans to tell Michigan residents to strictly stay at home to cut the spread of the coronavirus. As of today there are 549 cases of coronavirus in the state of Michigan, with cases rising quickly.
