Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a few hours in Goodrich and was able to see this small, tight-knit community come together.

'Good Times in Goodrich' showcased the wonderful businesses and schools, and the people behind them.  It was like stepping back to a simpler time when everyone knew everyone, and outsiders were welcomed with open arms.

I was blown away by the Goodrich Martians' State Champion Robotics Team.  Their robotic cupcake caught my eye during the parade, which was joined by an incredible assortment of classic fire trucks, clowns, and synchronized police on motorcycles.   There was amazing food, a karaoke contest, face painting for the kids, a duck race and a lot more.

I'd like to say thanks to the great folks who teamed up to have Cars 108 out for a live broadcast. To Angela from Lucy's Pet Supplies, Patty from Cranberries Cafe, Justin from Moo Cow Desserts, and Jennie from Good Times in Goodrich, it was fun clowning around with you guys! I'm looking forward to next year!
