Scott McDowell is a local firefighter and EMT in Genesee County. He is also in the Paramedic Academy at McLaren. Not long ago, Scott came down with a super infection that nearly took his life. He was hospitalized and on dialysis. As a result of the infection and it's complications, Scott needed to have both his legs amputated to save his life. On top of that, he hasn't been able to work and now needs to have his home updated to be handicap accessable. You can play a round of golf this Sunday and help Scott and his family out. Come support a man who has spent his time saving others.
The golf outing is at Sugarbush Golf Course just east of Davison and begins at 9 am with a shotgun start. Coffee and doughnuts at registration, hot dogs and chips at the turn and a dinner after the round. Door prizes, 50/50, putting contest and a chance to win a car with a hole-in-one (vehicle donated by Patsy Lou Williamson).
Sponsors are also needed. Dinner tickets are available if you don't golf. Details can be had by calling Jamie at (810) 342-2257 or Catherine at (810) 610-0370.

Have some fun and help a local hero in his time of need.
