I came to know about this help first-hand with my own son. He was struggling mightily with high school, hung around the wrong crowd, and was headed for disaster without the benefit of a diploma. I could see it, feel it, and knew it was coming, unless I could find a way to help and turn things around for him.

I was blessed that one of my students at Mott gave me a pamphlet that I truly believe saved my sons life. It was from the "Michigan Youth Challenge Academy" (MYCA), and it turned out to be an amazing solution. The MYCA is a non-profit, no cost, school for Michigan's at-risk boys and girls ages 16-18. It is a 22 week voluntary residential school, run in a military style. It serves every county and is the last line of defense for kids that have somehow lost their way.

The staff works to rebuild or instill confidence and worth into the kids through education, job training, and life skills. The MYCA saves countless dollars by mentoring kids away from welfare, drugs and even jail/prison. The Academy is not a school for felons, thugs, or those with violent crime backgrounds, but a place for kids that are truly "hanging with the wrong crowd".

It is totally free and offers benefits like a GED (even for 16 year-olds), 15 college credits, Vo-Tech certification, leadership training and more. If you want more information for your lost child, please check out the MYCA.

I believe that it saved my sons life, maybe it can do the same for you. There is a deadline fast approaching for the next class, so don't delay.
