GM Announced a $1 Billion Investment With Added Jobs

Along with the $1 Billion investment comes added US jobs.

According to the Detroit News, GM announced today that they will add 7,000 US jobs and invest $1 Billion into US plants, including Michigan. More than 5,000 salaried jobs will come in key growth areas. GM will also in-source from a supplier for full size pickups, that work is currently done in Mexico, and will move to Michigan. GM did not reveal where the manufacturing investments will occur, but it will include multiple new vehicles.
