Prince Fielder's baseball career may be over, but the former first baseman for the Detroit Tigers is still cooking. Literally. Fielder and his wife will host a cooking and interview show on Netflix and Hulu.

In an interview with ESPNS's Jerry Crasnick, Fielder says he's almost certain the show will be called 'Fielder's Choice.'

“I have a food show that’s going to be streaming on Netflix and Hulu. It’s coming out around the beginning of spring training in March, I believe. It’s not just baseball people. It’s a mixture of baseball people, actors, musicians, chefs and whatnot. They bring out different dishes, and at the end of the show, I give the one I like the most the “Fielder’s choice.” It’s good TV.”

Last year, Fielder announced that his playing career is over due to a neck injury. He'll remain on the disabled list for the remainder of his four-year contract with the Texas Rangers.

Anybody else remember (and love) this McDonald's commercial from the early 90s featuring a young Fielder and his then Tigers superstar Dad, Cecil Fielder?
