Great things coming out of the mitten state during this pandemic.

The Ford Motor Company has shipped out one million face shields that were made at their Advanced Manufacturing Center in Redford. They were created with parts made from 3D printers. Almost 200,000 of those shields were sent to New York City and New Jersey.
New York Mayor Bill De Blasio said, "New York City is on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are deeply grateful for the resources and support we are receiving from people across the country. We thank the members of the UAW and Ford for their support.”

The masks are being distributed in a partnership with HealthTrust.
