Flint ranks first in a national survey once again, this time having the most-deteriorated roads in the country.

TRIP, a national transportation organization found that 54% of the major roads in the Flint Urban area are in poor condition. Urban areas with 250,000 to 500,000 residents were included in the study.

WNEM reports that two other Michigan cities -- Lansing and Ann Arbor -- ranked high on TRIP's list, landing at number 10 and 25 respectively.

The group says Flint's poor road conditions cost the average driver $839 per year in operating costs.
