Flint River Watershed Coalition Offers Inclusive Kayaking – The Good News
There will be three different workshops for people with disabilities in June, July and August.
The Disability Network-Flint, Flint River Watershed Coalition, and Rocky’s Great Outdoors have gotten together to provide several different opportunities to go kayaking this summer.
For $20 per person, participants will receive a 90-minute orientation, equipment adaptation, kayaking time, water and snacks. All programs start at the Bluegilll boat ramp.
Workshops take place on June 22nd, July 27th and August 24th. There are four workshops per day - you can sign up by clicking HERE.
I know that I've mentioned this a thousand times, but my mom has had MS since I was 7, and a program like this means so much. It means that she can do exactly what everybody else can. Time to get her out to Michigan to go kayaking!
