Flint Police Searching for Missing 4-Year-Old + Father Involved in Shooting
UPDATE: Police say Italy Turner has been found safe.
Flint police are searching for a missing 4-year-old girl who may be endangered.
Italy Dior Turner was last seen today (4/13) at approximately 10:00 am near the 1500 block of Avenue A in Flint. According to our news partner Mid-Michigan Now, the 4-year-old was wearing a copper-colored coat, a Lilo & Stitch t-shirt, turquoise and white tie-dyed pants with orange, green, and pink barrettes in her hair.
Police are concerned that the girl may be in danger. She was last seen with her father who was allegedly involved in a shooting earlier today.
Flint Police Chief Terence Green said Maurice Turner tells ABC-12 that the girl's father, Maurice Turner was holding his daughter when he shot his mother's boyfriend. Police say he walked away from the scene of the crime with his daughter.
Turner and the missing girl could be in a silver Buick Century. The year and license plate number of the vehicle are unknown at this time.
