Flint Fire, Police Departments Face Off in Charity Basketball Game – The Good News
We may be a bit biased because it was put on by our sister station, but still ;)
On Saturday, Flint police officers and Flint firefighters participated in a basketball game...for charity. And probably for some bragging rights, too.
The game tipped off at Flint Job Corps and was sponsored by our sister station, Club 93.7, Metro PCS, CMB Basketball and, of course, the red and blue.
All proceeds went to Flint PAL and CMB Basketball, which helps create opportunities for young people affected by the Flint water crisis.
And, not that it matters because it was for charity and EVERYBODY is a winner...Flint Fire beat the police with a score of 55-49.
Congrats to everybody for a job well done!
