Flint Eastside Mission Gives 500 Students School Supplies

Over 500 kids walked away with school supplies and a new backpack for the upcoming school year.

The Flint Eastside Mission held their annual Back to School Bash on Sunday. The mission had a little bit of help from St. Mary's Church, The Franklin Mission, as well as all of the Eastern Michigan District Nazarene churches. The mission received donations of school supplies and backpacks and gave them out at their bash on Sunday afternoon.

Thisis sonething they've done for 20 years and this year, there were signifcantly more families. They do this during Easter, too - handing out over 500 Easter baskets to Flint kids.
