Flint Bishop Airport Now Has Non-Ticketed Passenger Gate Access
Flint's Bishop International Airport announced a brand new program today that will allow non-ticketed passengers access to gate areas.
The new FNT Visitor Pass will give visitors the ability to surprise arriving travelers at their gates, spend extra time with loved ones before they board their flight, or even enjoy grabbing bite or shopping at the airport. “The FNT Visitor Pass allows non-ticketed people the opportunity to go airside and spend some extra time with friends and family, say goodbye to their loved ones or to meet them at the gate to surprise them, and enjoy our restaurants and gift shops. Bishop International Airport is committed to providing a safe, convenient, customer experience,” said Nino Sapone, Flint Bishop Airport Director.
Our own Bishop International Airport is among only five U.S. airports to offer something like this in over a decade. The FNT Visitor Pass is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Participants are limited to ONE visit per month, but the program can be ended at any time by the TSA. Registration is required by all participants, including visitors 17 years and younger who must also be accompanied by an adult.
The FNT Visitor Pass program will begin accepting registrations today and allowing access to the airside terminal post-security, starting Friday, January 17, 2020.
