Fire Rips Through Iconic Lansing-Area Car Dealership [VIDEO]

An early-morning fire destroyed a building and several vehicles Thursday at Sundance Chevrolet in Grand Ledge.

Grand Ledge Fire Chief Rodney Vandecasteel tells WLNS an iconic log cabin building was destroyed in the blaze.

"Shortly after arrival we started to have the roof go in, the walls started to go in. We went to a defensive mode most of the night and we fought it for about three to four hours.”

Employees were moved to another building on the property, and the dealership was able to resume operation Thursday.
