Alexandria Stack of Fenton had no idea her quick reaction to take video of a Kentwood, Michigan man's truck driving through a median and flying over a guardrail last week would garner national attention.

The 17-year-old Fenton resident was driving westbound on I-96 near Lansing to dance team practice at Western Michigan University with her windows down on Friday, Aug. 16, when she heard an odd sound and felt something sharp, possibly a piece of glass hit her.

"I looked over and there was a guy in the middle of the median," she said of the pickup truck driven by Mark Moerland, 58. Moerland was driving westbound on I-96 when his pickup, hauling a trailer loaded with a lawnmower went into the median.

Alex acted fast and took out her phone. Her short video captures the truck driving down the median and soaring over a guardrail before landing in Sycamore Creek about 20 feet below.

She posted it to Vine and didn't think much of it until an influx of emails and calls from national media outlets began Monday night. A company first asked to buy the video for $100, Stack said. She was then contacted by Yahoo! News, CNN, The Today Show, Fox, Esquire, others. Take a look at the video.
