Don’t Park in a Handicap Spot Unless You’re Handicapped…in Brazil [VIDEO]

You'd think that, by now, people would know better. But if they don't, you publicly shame them.

This video was posted to YouTube yesterday, and it's already got almost five million views. Apparently, in Sao Paolo, disability awareness is something that residents are very empowered to be conscious of. So when this guy parked in a handicap spot illegally, they busted out the blue and white post-its and went to town.

The typical parking ticket in Brazil is yellow, so there's obviously no monetary fine on the car for what he did. In fact, a parking enforcement officer did drop by, but couldn't locate the plates under all of the post-its.

As I've mentioned before, my mom has Multiple Sclerosis, so I'm well-versed in the world of handicap spots. And this video gave me a great deal of joy.
