Detroit’s Eminem Serving Up Mom’s Spaghetti Sauce: How to Buy

It wasn't the big announcement fans were hoping for or expecting. The hype was building that Detroit's Eminem would be announcing a new album after teasing some big news on the horizon, but that is far from what happened.

Instead of new music on the way, it looks like it's a new sauce dropping. Detroit's rap legend Eminem has just launched his line of "Mom's Spaghetti" sauce. The lyrical genius behind hits like "Lose Yourself" and "Without Me" is bringing the heat to your kitchen with his special spaghetti sauce recipe straight from the heart of the Motor City.

Slim Shady took to Instagram to announce that the special sauce from his Mom's Spaghetti restaurant will now be available for purchase nationwide. The rapper posted a commercial to his Instagram showing jars of sauce and containers of spaghetti falling to the tune of his 2009 song " Drop the Bomb on Em" with one of the jars eventually smashing on the ground before the tagline "The Sauce Is Dropping" pops up.

"From the D 2 ur kitchen 🍝 #momsspaghetti sauce is droppin 10/26," he announced.

After starting as a pop-up shop in 2017, Eminem opened his Mom's Spaghetti restaurant in Detroit back in September of 2021. Anyone who's a fan of the rapper from the D knows the name was inspired by the opening lyrics of his hit song "Lose Yourself", "His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti."

Now as much as we're sure the sauce is fantastic, many fans were disappointed with the announcement having nothing to do with music.

We will keep waiting for now.

The new Mom's Spaghetti Sauce will officially be available to buy starting Thursday, October 26th on the restaurant website.
